SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfers will be available again for European users of Binance... starting from March, 7th 2022.
This payment method had been removed last summer for internal reasons at Binance, but the removal was only temporary as it had been announced.
Binance announces that SEPA transfers will be possible again from March, 7th 2022.
This payment method was very popular with Binance users as it allowed them to deposit funds on the platform without any fees. Its long-awaited return should therefore reconcile some users with the platform.
Binance out of the turmoil?
The company was starting to drown under the investigations of different financial regulators around the world. We remember that the platform had suddenly informed its users residing in Ontario (USA) that they had until January 31, 2021 to close their account following a dispute with the regulatory authority of the province.
Binance is making considerable efforts to restore its reputation in the face of these setbacks. The exchange platform announced the creation of a hub in Dubai, but also began its development in East Asia, including Thailand through a partnership with Gulf Energy Development.
How to deposit Euros on Binance with SEPA transfer
- Go to Binance and in the menu in "Buy Crypto" top left click on "Bank deposit".
Once on the deposit page select the currency "EURO" then "Bank Transfer (SEPA)", indicate the amount you wish to send (it's just to show you the fee of €1.50, you are free to send a different amount between €20 and €500), accept the terms and click Continue.
You will then obtain the deposit IBAN associated with your Binance account. You will then need to go to your bank's website or app to make a bank transfer to it.
On the transfer page of your bank don't forget to include the "Reference Code".

Once on the site or app of your bank make a transfer to the IBAN that have been provided to you on Binance. The deposit usually takes a few hours.
Note: If the transfer is made after 5pm it will be credited the next day. Some banks may also not make the transfer outside of working days.
Once the deposit is credited to your Binance account you will receive a notification by email and your deposit will also be visible in your "Fiat" deposit history.
After the deposit you will be able to trade on the pairs BTC/EUR, ETH/EUR, XRP/EUR and BNB/EUR to convert your euros into crypto.
